ORDER

Filed in Court is the petition by the above-named petitioner corporation, through its Vice-President for Receivership and Liquidation Group I, as well as the OIC of the Receivership and Liquidation Department 1-D of the PDIC, which seeks for assistance from the court in the liquidation of the First Interstate Bank, Inc. (FIBI). Among the reliefs prayed for by petitioner is for the court to order the setting of the initial hearing of the petition; to order petitioner to cause the publication of this order and to direct all those who may have a claim against the said bank their respective claims within a period of Ninety (90) days from such publication of this order.

A careful examination of the allegations in the petition will show that the same is sufficient in form and substance. Accordingly, the petition is hereby given DUE COURSE. Let the initial hearing of this petition be set on March 9, 2010 at 1:30 o’clock in the afternoon, at which date and time all those who may have claims against the FIBI may attend to substantiate their claims. The petitioner is also hereby ORDERED to cause the publication of this Order at its expense, once in a newspaper of general circulation in the Philippines. All the prospective claimants are likewise ORDERED to file their respective claims with the petitioner at its given address, within Ninety (90) days from the date of such publication. The Sheriff of the court, meanwhile, is likewise ORDERED to cause the posting of a copy of this Order in three conspicuous public places – one in the bulletin board of the court, on in the bulletin board of the Municipal Hall of Kananga, Leyte and one in Bulletin Board of the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas, Sen. Enage Street, Tacloban City.
