ORDER

The Philippine Deposit Insurance Corporation (PDIC), through counsel, has filed a Petition for Assistance in the Liquidation of Rural Bank of Nasugbu (Batangas), Inc. under the applicable provision of Sec. 30, Republic Act No. 7653 dated June 14, 1993 and pursuant to Monetary Board Resolution No. 959 ordering the petitioner to proceed with the liquidation of the said bank in accordance with the aforementioned law.

Finding the petition to be sufficient in form and substance, let the same be set for hearing on August 19, 2013 at 8:30 in the morning before this Court, sitting at the Hall of Justice Building, Escalera Street, Nasugbu, Batangas, on which date, time and place, all interested persons are ordered to appear and show cause why the Petition should not be granted, and for those who may have a claim against the assets of the bank to file their respective claims.

Let this Order be published once a week for three (3) consecutive weeks in a newspaper of general circulation in the Province of Batangas, chosen by raffle, pursuant to PD 1079, as amended by PD No. 1970. Let it likewise be posted at the bulletin board of the Hall of Justice Building, Nasugbu, Batangas, bulletin board of the Municipal Hall of Nasugbu, Batangas, at the building of the Rural Bank of Nasugbu located at JP Laurel St., Nasugbu, Batangas, and at three (3) conspicuous public places within the Municipality of Nasugbu, Batangas, all at the expense of herein petitioner, before the date of hearing.

The PDIC is hereby mandated to notify the known depositors and creditors of the Rural Bank of Nasugbu, Batangas of the pendency of its petition, at least ten (10) days before the date of initial hearing.

Let this Order and a copy of the petition and its annexes be sent to the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas located at Malate, Manila.

Furnish the petitioner and its counsel with a copy of this Order.
