SUBJECT	:	Observance of the 21st Depositor Protection and Awareness Week from 16 to 22 June 2023

As declared through Presidential Proclamation No. 358 s. 2003, the Philippine Deposit Insurance Corporation (PDIC) leads the annual observance of Depositor Protection and Awareness Week (DPAW) from 16 to 22 June of every year. The annual observance aims to complement the government’s thrust of sustaining economic growth by further strengthening public confidence in the Philippine banking system.

All banks are enjoined to support this weeklong observance by displaying the physical DPAW banner at the bank premises; and uploading the electronic DPAW banner and other DPAW materials on their ATM screens, LED monitors in bank premises, websites and social media pages for the duration of the DPAW. In addition, banks are enjoined to share the information materials and infographics posted in the PDIC Facebook, Twitter and YouTube accounts on their respective social media pages. The electronic banner and other DPAW materials are available for downloading from the PDIC website, www.pdic.gov.ph. while the information materials/graphics may be shared from PDIC’s official Facebook page, www.facebook.com/OfficialPDIC.
