Invitation to Apply for Accreditation as External Appraisers

The Philippine Deposit Insurance Corporation (PDIC) invites all interested Firms to apply for accreditation as an External Appraiser of PDIC to conduct appraisal of real properties acquired/owned by or mortgaged or pledged to the Corporation or banks ordered closed by the Monetary Board.

The application for accreditation shall be evaluated by the Committee on Accreditation and Engagement of External Appraisers (CAEEA) in accordance with approved policies and procedures. PDIC reserves the right to reject any application for accreditation and to waive any deficiency or infirmity in the application submitted.

Interested parties may secure an application form from the CAEEA Secretariat at the 4th Floor, SSS Building, 6782 Ayala Avenue cor. V.A. Rufino, Makati City or download it from the PDIC website at www.pdic.gov.ph.

The Philippine Deposit Insurance Corporation (PDIC) was established on June 22, 1963 by Republic Act 3591 to provide depositor protection and help maintain stability in the financial system by providing permanent and continuing deposit insurance. Effective June 1, 2009, the maximum deposit insurance coverage is P500,000 per depositor. All deposit accounts by a depositor in a closed bank maintained in the same right and capacity shall be added together. A joint account shall be insured separately from any individually-owned deposit account.
