New Decals and Standees with the new maximum deposit insurance coverage (MDIC) of P250,000 for each depositor are now available to member banks. The new decals are priced at P20.00, while the standee at P135.00.

Effective August 12, 2004, the implementation of the new MDIC and the other amendments to the PDIC Charter will commence by virtue of Republic Act 9302 recently enacted by President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo.

Member-banks are advised to immediately update their decals and standees to inform their clients and the general public of the new insurance coverage.

Orders may be placed online at www.pdic.gov.ph, or thru the PDIC Property, Procurement & Records Department, 9th Floor SSS Building, Philippine Deposit Insurance Corporation, Ayala Avenue corner Herrera St., Makati City 1200.

The order shall contain the following basic information: type of sign (standee or decal), quantity, mode of payment and mode of delivery (pick-up or mail).
