Observance of the 20th Depositor Protection Awareness Week on 16–22 June 2022

Presidential Proclamation No. 358 s. 2003 declared June 16-22 of every year as Depositor Protection and Awareness Week (DPAW), which aims to further strengthen depositor confidence in the country’s banking system to complement the government’s thrust of sustaining economic growth.

All banks are enjoined to support this weeklong observance by displaying the physical DPAW banner at the bank premises; and to upload the electronic DPAW banner and other DPAW materials on their ATM screens, LED monitors in bank premises, websites and social media pages for the duration of the DPAW. In addition, banks are enjoined to share in their social media pages the information materials and infographics posted in the PDIC Facebook, Twitter and YouTube accounts. The electronic banner and other DPAW materials may be downloaded from the PDIC website, www.pdic.gov.ph while the information materials/graphics may be shared from PDIC’s official Facebook page, www.facebook.com/OfficialPDIC.
