Jose C. Nograles Takes Oath as PDIC President

PDIC President Jose C. Nograles took his oath of office before Finance Secretary and PDIC Chairman of the Board Margarito B. Teves in simple ceremonies at the Department of Finance on April 28, 2008. This followed his appointment as PDIC President by President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo on April 15, 2008. President Nograles was appointed by PGMA earlier on December 12, 2007 as Acting President of the PDIC.

The oathtaking was attended by PJCN’s family led by his wife, Mrs. Ma. Rosario A. Nograles, their three sons, members of the PDIC Executive Committee, and Presidents of the PDIC Officers’ Club and Phildiceo.

Prior to his appointment at PDIC, PJCN was Senior Executive Vice President of the Bank Operations and Corporate Services Sector of the Land Bank of the Philippines. PJCN aims to lead PDIC in attaining its vision of global leadership in depositor protection by adopting international best practices, as well as ensuring that the Corporation’s processes and operations meet global management and operations standards.
