Forum for Creditors and Uninsured Depositors
of Export and Industry Bank (EIB)

The Philippine Deposit Insurance Corporation (PDIC) is conducting forums for the creditors and uninsured depositors of the closed Export and Industry Bank (EIB) which are being held at the Penthouse, SSS Building, Ayala Avenue corner V.A. Rufino Street, Makati City on November 5, 6 and 7, 2012. The morning session is at 10:00 AM and the afternoon session is at 3:00 PM.

To be discussed are the status of the rehabilitation process and re-bidding procedures following the denial by the court of plaintiff’s application for temporary restraining order (TRO)/injunction in “Forum Holdings Corporation, East Asia Oil Company, Inc., Pacific Rehouse Corporation, Pacific Concorde Corporation and Mizpah Holdings, Inc. v. Philippine Deposit Insurance Corporation, Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas and Export and Industry Bank, Inc.

PDIC will also explain the required consent from creditors and uninsured depositors for the rehabilitation of the bank. The required consent in the form of a Special Power of Attorney (SPA) must be submitted to PDIC not later than November 9, 2012.

Creditors and uninsured depositors can attend either the morning or afternoon session of any of the scheduled dates.
